Myles Jen Kin, DO, MBA, FASAM, FAAEM
Dr. Myles Jen Kin, DO, MBA, FASAM, FAAEM, is a seasoned physician with over 13 years of clinical and leadership experience. Board-certified in addiction medicine and emergency medicine, he co-founded Pelkin Biomedical to provide expert consulting services for addiction treatment facilities, focusing on program development, regulatory compliance, and patient-centered care. As the former President of Wachusett Emergency Physicians, a private emergency medicine group with a 38-year legacy in central Massachusetts, Dr. Jen Kin revitalized the organization through innovative leadership and strategic planning. With an MBA from the Isenberg School of Management and a background that includes serving as State Medical Director for multiple organizations, he combines his clinical expertise and operational acumen to empower smaller facilities to deliver exceptional, evidence-based care. Dedicated to improving lives, Dr. Jen Kin is committed to advancing addiction medicine and supporting underserved populations through compassionate, innovative solutions.
Meg Pelis, DO, MPH, FASAM, FAAEM
Dr. Megan Pelis, DO, MPH, FASAM, FAAEM, is a board-certified physician in addiction and emergency medicine with a passion for global and community health. As co-founder of Pelkin Biomedical, Dr. Pelis brings extensive experience in clinical leadership, program development, and international medicine to help facilities deliver high-quality, evidence-based care. She has been instrumental in establishing and leading multiple emergency medicine training programs in Africa and India, equipping local healthcare providers with the skills needed to deliver emergency and trauma care in resource-limited settings. Dr. Pelis has also provided direct healthcare and training to physicians and healthcare teams in Uganda, Bangladesh, Greece, and India. Her work includes serving Syrian refugees in Greece and working in the world’s largest refugee camp, Kutupalong, where she developed protocols, organized simulation labs, and mentored teams to improve care delivery in challenging environments. Dr. Pelis is committed to bridging gaps in addiction treatment and empowering facilities to provide compassionate, patient-centered solutions tailored to their unique needs.
