Pelkin Biomedical was founded by two board-certified physicians with expertise in addiction and emergency medicine, united by a commitment to improving care for all patients, especially those from marginalized and underserved populations. This includes refugees, individuals with mental health disorders, immigrants, migrants, ESL patients, and those affected by substance use disorders—groups that often face stigma and limited access to quality healthcare. Recognizing these challenges, Pelkin Biomedical was created to serve not only addiction treatment facilities but also small health clinics, social service agencies, free clinics, and other organizations dedicated to providing care to vulnerable populations. We provide these facilities with the professional guidance and resources they need to deliver compassionate, evidence-based care. For organizations without the resources or patient volume to employ a full-time physician, we offer tailored physician partnerships, consultation, and medical oversight to meet their specific clinical and operational needs.
